【重要】2026年4月1日からの体験料金改定について（予定）

三条鍛冶道場では、2026年4月1日から常設体験講座（ペーパーナイフづくり体験、和釘づくり体験、庖丁研ぎ体験、庖丁仕上げ体験）の料金改定を予定しています。

2005年に三条鍛冶道場は、市民向けの施設として、市内産業の根幹をなす鍛冶について三条市民に広く知ってもらうことを主眼として設立されました。現在は市民だけの利用に留まらず広く、市外・県外・海外からも三条鍛冶道場に来館いただいています。
また、近年の燃料費・材料費の高騰に加え、常設講座の指導スタッフも、従来の現役を退いたベテラン職人から、若手の職人志望者を中心とした体制へと移行しており、適切な運営体制を維持していく必要が生じています。

現在、市民と市外在住者で体験料に差を設ける方向で、三条市と協議を進めています。具体的な金額や運用方法については１月現在未定で、決まり次第、改めてお知らせします。なお、申込の日時によらず、４月１日以降の体験には新料金が適用されます。

Sanjo Blacksmithing Dojo plans to revise the fees for its regular hands-on experience programs effective April 1, 2026.
This revision applies to the following programs: paper knife making, Japanese nail forging, kitchen knife sharpening, and kitchen knife finishing.

When Sanjo Blacksmithing Dojo was established in 2005, it was operated primarily as a facility for local residents, with the aim of helping citizens of Sanjo learn about blacksmithing, a core local industry.
Today, however, the dojo welcomes a wide range of visitors from outside the city, other prefectures, and overseas.

In addition to recent increases in fuel and material costs, the instructional staff for the regular programs has also shifted from retired veteran blacksmiths to a team centered on younger, aspiring blacksmiths.
As a result, it has become necessary to maintain a sustainable operating structure.

We are currently discussing a new fee structure with the City of Sanjo, which will introduce different rates for city residents and non-residents.
As of January, the specific fees and operational details have not yet been finalized and will be announced once confirmed.

Regardless of the application or reservation date, the revised fees will apply to all experiences held on or after April 1, 2026.
